Despite the release of OpenSocial, Facebook applications continue to be released. The chart below shows the growth of Facebook applications over the last week. It will be interesting to see what the trend looks like next week.

Despite the tone of previous posts we still think OpenSocial is good for the social application industry. However, we still think the product has a ways to go.
